- How would you describe yourself?
- I'm intelligent, kind, caring, and loyal. I have an excellent sense of humor, am passionate and enthusiastic about many things. I'm into sports for sure. I'm like working out/bodybuilding, skiing, movies, camping, traveling, reading, and just kicking back at home and watching the big TV. It would be better if there was someone there with me!! I'm also an incurable romantic at heart as well.
- How would you describe your ideal partner?
- In order to build a loving relationship, you must build build trust! Also you must communicate with one another, which involves REAL LISTENING and exchanging of points views and of ideas. A relationship, at least in my mind, is a also a partnership, where two people come together and make mutual decisions on major decisions.
Honesty. Partners must also be honest with one another. To lie, to deceive, is to pretty much kill the relationship and ask for it to die. I would also desire sexual compatibility, as physical attraction certainly plays a role in the building a successful long term relationship. But show me a partner that doesn't have the qualities or exhibit the traits of trust, communication, partnership, and honesty, and I believe you will have an unfulfilled relationship, no matter the sexual attraction or how great the sex is. - If you knew the world was going to end in 30 days, what would you do?
- Spend like there is no tomorrow (since there isn't). Max those credit cards, baby!! Enjoy it while you can!!
- If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?
- Take care of my brother and sister's debts, as well as any that I might have. Donate to worthy causes. Enjoy life. Invest so I never have to worry about $$$ ever again.
- How often, and from whom do you ask advice?
- Not too often. From family, brother/sister/mother. Best friend. That's about all that I truly trust.
- What quality do you value most in the people of your gender?
- Their willingness to help others. I see it time and time again at school. Our male staff loves kids, and will do almost anything to help them succeed. Being good fathers. I know they love their kids.
- What quality do you value most in the opposite sex?
- See above. Their loving touch. Nurturing others. The mothering of others. It's something that comes natural to most women. It's great, and it shows in their willingness to help students to succeed.
- What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?
- My divorce. It's made me a bit more cynical about life.
- What is the best advice that you give to your children?
- I don't have any so I don't know that I am qualified to answer this. But I have had thousands in my classroom. I would say trust is earned, not just automatically given. Don't always just believe, because so many many people will tell you what you want to hear, just to get what they want, not because they actually mean it. Be careful about trusting others!! They'll burn you in their own self-interests.
- What has produced the biggest impression (shock) on you?
- The lies people tell. People will tell you anything to get what they want.
- The last books that you read?
- The Martian. It's by Andy Weir. Science Fiction. A great read. A guy gets left on Mars on by his crew. Funny, well written, a page turner. Coming out soon in theaters staring Matt Damon. Currently reading a book by Doris Kearns Goodwin, a presidential historian called a "Team of Rivals, The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln."
- What are your goals now?
- Since the last writing of this, I have done some of what I wanted. Retired... yes! Visited the nation's capital, yes! Traveled across the United States and been to places I have never seen, but only read about. Yes! Visited the New England states. All four! So now? Try and find the hobby that would take up a modicum of time, and something that I would enjoy. Find that certain someone that I can grow old with. I would love to get back to rehabbing homes, as that is something I have wanted to do, and I think I would be good at it.
- Whom do you admire?
- My father, who died just after 9/11 (October 2001) and my Mom, who has soldiered on after he died, and is still alive, and will be 94 in September, 2019. I think a lot of my brother as well.
- Do you have a lot of friends?
- No, but a lot of acquaintances.
- What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?
- They can we pretty cold and calculating at times.
- What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?
- Their willingness to lie to get what they want. That many value money over character.
- What would you like to change in yourself?
- Have more patience. I prefer to get it done now, and not wait, and wait, and wait, while you get it wrong time or don't even do it. (A quality kids often have at school.)

- Lack of patience.

- A sporty woman, athletic in nature (since I like going to the gym)! Likes the outdoors, camping, hiking, going places. Wants to travel!! A woman who isn't stubborn, and doesn't need to be right all the time. (I've had my fill of that!) Willing to talk about a problem, not shout out a problem. In other words, a good communicator, who's willing to compromise, and can admit not being right ALL the time. (No one is right 100% of the time!) An affectionate women.... One who is honest and trustworthy, and is looking for a lifetime partner.
