How would you describe yourself?: Conservative and self-made, former investment banker who relocated from New York and Charlotte to be closer to his parents and family. Now, I own and operate a mechanical contracting/service company with 150 employees. I can speak limited Russian and French. Enjoy the outdoors, community service travel, fitness, charity and personal growth. In times of peace, I usually visit Russia or Ukraine twice a year. In some sense, I consider myself to be an achiever, though I have focused more than I should on business success and would now like to find a soulmate who could mimic the joy my parents shared in their 56 years of marriage. I have neither been married nor lived with a woman and seek the same in a lady. In leaving the frenetic banking industry, perhaps I finally left my Peter Pan years behind. Time will tell. How would you describe your ideal partner?: My ideal partner would be Slavic, capable of climbing a mountain to toast a sunset or slip on a cocktail dress and dance with me on a ballroom floor. She would be versatile and content living in the United States, eastern Europe or wherever fate would take us. A Christian faith is essential, whether practiced or lapsed and a desires to both raise a family and also to "fill the unforgiving minute with 60 seconds worth of distance run (Kipling) would be ideal. I look for an achiever mindset, but she can define achieving as she wishes--perhaps care-giving, music, charity or academia. Femininity, honesty and faithfulness are requisite and I will reciprocate in kind.

If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?: Invest in human projects that directly improve the lives of poor people. I try to do that on a smaller scale.
